WebIt definitely takes a bit to learn it correctly. I'd recommend looking up at least one even basic tutorial on YouTube. I think even watching how the Mechanical Marquise works helps understand all the solo factions. I also think people use them for a 2 player game. I don't recommend Root 2 players at all.
