Firebird overheat stat
WebI have a 1994 Pontiac Firebird that over heats in town. I have replaced cooling fan, radiator, hoses, removed thermo stat and waterpump on stand by but it circulates. It overheats after 7 minutes with just distilled water and about 10 with the proper coolant water mix. I've used the bleeder valves and waited for water to come out completely.

Switched boiler off when pressure went over 2.5 as I'd never seen it that high before, usually 2 when up to temp. Pressure Control stat was clicking when knob was turned on warm up but when hot it didn't seem to be doing anything.
